  • Recognition of points of interest on the image: Recognition is used to find and then determine the value of the Xi,Yi coordinates. There are a number of algorithms and methods for determining the location of individual points. The solution consists in processing graphic information and then finding the desired points of interest.

  • Visualization of the measurement process: The main task of visualization is to present the measured data in a different way than in tables and reports. Expressing the measurement results graphically (2D, 3D and computer animation) can sometimes be more informative.

  • Steganoraphy is a part of the security science that deals with creative data concealment. Modern steganography can serve as an effective tool for covert data transmissions or creating watermarks for various computer formats such as JPEG, PNG or MPEG.

  • The internal structure of various materials is one of the most important factors determining mechanical properties. The work focuses on the analysis of the internal structure of the widely used Czech sandstone and the so-called metal foam cast at FMMI VŠB TU Ostrava using micro-CT. To evaluate this data, we used the FOTOM-NG system, in which we introduced a new specialized module.

  • The reliability and safety of energy transmission depends on the state of the electrical network and especially on the state of the high-voltage pylons. When assessing the situation, a geodetic survey of selected masts was carried out. The deformation of the steel structures was also analyzed using the FOTOM-NG system on the images taken. The proposed method enables the modeling of the structure of the object on the basis of accurately obtained photographic documentation of the current state. Our method enables a fast and efficient analysis of the deformation in the structure of the high voltage mast at the critical position of the power grid.
